HEALTH AND HEALTHCARE

The nursing profession encompasses the care and support of people of all age groups, mainly people in sickness, in palliative care or people with disabilities. Prevention and prevention of diseases are also part of the job of the nursing profession. A key task is also the perception of the interests and needs of the people to be looked after and the promotion of a safe environment for them. People with this professional training are also employed in education, health policy and health care management.

The aim is “as human action to restore the patient’s life as independently as possible and to maintain the health of all members within a society.” (See Josef N. Neumann: Krankenpflege. 2005, p. 791)

According to an estimate by the German Institute for Economic Research, the need for nursing staff could double by 2050. (Nursing Strengthening Acts 2020)
